The Chatham Area Transit Board of Directors has selected Curtis Koleber as the authority’s new Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer. Koleber has served as Interim CEO since December 2015.

The decision to promote Koleber was announced after a vote by the CAT Board of Directors to make him the permanent CAT CEO.

Koleber joined CAT in 2013 as Chief Operating Officer and Deputy Executive Director. Prior to joining CAT, he served as General Manager at the Sky Harbor International Airport and Consolidated Rental Car Center in Phoenix, AZ.  Koleber got his start in transit as a bus operator and is a graduate of Northern Arizona University

The Board will hold a special called meeting on December 20^th to discuss the terms of his contract.
