Staff Report From Savannah CEO

This holiday season, Telfair Museums invites the public to shop local and give the gift of art at the Jepson Center’s gift store. With an array of thoughtfully curated merchandise from local artists, current exhibitions and much more, there’s something unique for everyone on your shopping list.

Returning this year, Telfair’s popular double discount promotion allows shoppers who purchase a membership, whether new, renewed or gifted, to enjoy 20% off their entire purchase, excluding consignment and already discounted items. To redeem the offer, simply bring your receipt of membership purchase to the store anytime during the month of December.

“The gift of a museum membership is a unique gift that keeps on giving,” said Director of Retail Operations Lisa Ocampo. “Not only does a Telfair membership offer the opportunity to enjoy all the art and experiences Telfair Museums have to offer, it includes discounts on store purchases and lunch in the Cafe throughout the year, free admission, guest passes and much more.”

Works by new and returning local artists are also available. Digital artist Peter Roberts’ Head Cases, are one of several exciting new products for sale. The themed shadow box creations contain iconic Savannah characters, including our very own Mary Telfair, in a brilliant, classic yet modern style. Beautiful jewelry by Tobia Makover, whose installation Nakazora is currently on display in the Jepson Café, and felted scarves from Camille Hulbert are among other creations offered.

Our year round supply of exhibition-inspired products as well as new children’s merchandise—with an artsy yet educational twist—make thoughtful gift-giving quick and easy. Whether a Savannah native or a visitor, the museum store provides guests with an authentic collection of artisan products that allows them to share their Telfair experience with friends and family.
