Have 1 extra hour a week?

Hospice Care of Georgia is looking for volunteers with an interest in photography or who want to help create a life review for hospice patients. Does that sound like you? Or do you love to bake, take care of pets, or spend time talking with someone? Become a volunteer and make a difference in the life of hospice patient and family!

As a member of our hospice volunteer family, you will embark on an unforgettable journey of compassion, fulfillment and friendship. As a hospice volunteer your contribution can come in many ways, from lending clerical and office support to spending time with patients or supporting family caregivers.

Volunteering doesn’t require any medical training or a burdensome level of commitment. Anyone can volunteer, it can be as simple as reading, running a few errands or just spending some time with someone. It’s those simple kindnesses that go so far.

Locally, Hospice Care of Georgia serves patients and families with coverage in Chatham, Bryan, Effingham, Liberty and Long counties. The Richmond Hill office has a highly trained staff of local professionals with combined experience of over 75 years. They are dedicated to providing compassionate care to patients and families living with an incurable disease. Hospice Care of Georgia was created to make a difference in every life touched by an advanced illness.
