First Annual “Clays for Kids” Fundraiser March 31st

The Jenkins Athletic Club announces its first annual Sporting Clays Fundraiser event to be held on March 31, 2017 at the Forest City Gun Club.
 
The Jenkins Athletic Club is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit organization that provides athletic facilities, programs, and activities, thru competition and teamwork for local boys & girls, to build confidence, integrity and sportsmanship while learning life lessons.
 
The Club was founded in 1933 by Victor B. Jenkins and has touched the lives of thousands of kids since its inception and is still a place where the boys & girls of our community can get involved in healthy activities and have fun.  Many parents get involved through volunteering, coaching and organizing activities.
 
“We are very excited about the event”, said Don Smith, President of the Board.  The Sporting “Clays for Kids” event encompasses the three components necessary for a successful fundraiser:  a fun activity, a terrific venue, and a great cause.”
 
The event consists of 4-person teams, lunch, a  course event, awards and social.  Pre-registration for the event is required and is limited to the first 40 teams to sign up.  Information on sponsorship opportunities and event registration is available online: www.jenkinsathleticclub.com.
