The Georgia Department of Labor’s Savannah Career Center will help the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System recruit about 60 employees on Wednesday, Jan. 11.

The recruitment will be held during two sessions at the Savannah Career Center located at 5520 White Bluff Road. The first session is from 9-11 a.m. and the second is from 1-3 p.m.

The public school system is recruiting auto diesel technicians, bus drivers, custodial workers, nutrition assistants and nurses.

All applicants for auto diesel technicians and bus drivers must be at least 18 years old.

A high school diploma, or a General Education Diploma, is required for all positions. The nurse position must have at least an associate’s or a vocational degree.

At least three years of experience is required for the auto diesel technicians.

Salaries will range from $10.74 to $16.04 an hour depending on the position.
