The Savannah Downtown Business Association is hosting a “Come meet your City Manager” business luncheon Wednesday, January 11, at the Charles Morris Center, 10 East Broad Street featuring Rob Hernandez, Savannah’s new City Manager. Networking for the event begins at 11AM and the program starts at 12PM.  Event registration deadline is January 6 at www.savannahdba.com and cost for SDBA members is $25, $35 non-members and elected officials, $10. Hernandez officially began his new role as Savannah’s City Manager October 10, 2016. Prior to coming to Savannah, he served as Deputy County Administrator of Broward County, FL. His previous work experience includes serving as Deputy City Manager of Coral Springs, FL; Deputy County Manager of Fulton County, GA.; and Assistant to the County Administrator of Broward County. Hernandez served in the U.S. Army Reserves from 1983-2008.
