Savannah Speech and Hearing Center, a nonprofit organization serving the speech pathology and audiology needs of the Coastal Empire, was pleased to accept a $5000 award donation from The Rite Aid Foundation’s KidCents grant through their Spread Hope not the Flu initiative.

KidCents allows Rite Aid customers to round up their purchases to the nearest dollar and donate their change to a general fund that supports kid-focused charities. In addition, wellness+ with Plenti members can log in to their online wellness+ account at KidCents.com to elect to automatically round up all of their purchases and donate the change to KidCents every time they shop at Rite Aid.

“This is the second year we’ve received funds from Rite Aid as a KidCents charity,” said Beth McIntosh, executive director of Savannah Speech and Hearing Center. “We are extremely grateful for their generosity and ongoing support of the important work we do at Savannah Speech & Hearing Center. These funds will most certainly go a long way to help us continue to provide critical speech, language and hearing services to children and adults in Savannah regardless of their financial status.”
