Steve Eagle of Seacrest Partners Named to Board of Trustees for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Georgia Chapter

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Georgia Chapter is pleased to announce the appointment of C. Steven Eagle, Managing Director-Employee Benefits for Seacrest Partners, a privately-held insurance brokerage and employee benefits consulting firm based in Savannah, to its Board of Trustees. Eagle joins a group of eighteen fellow Trustees to provide strategic guidance, financial oversight and fundraising assistance for the organization.

Steve Eagle has more than 30 years’ experience in the employee benefits consulting field. As one of Seacrest Partners’ senior leaders, Steve is committed to building an organization that is an asset to the community in terms of professionalism and civic support.

During his career, Steve has designed and managed health and welfare plans for Fortune 1000 companies, municipal and public entity organizations, major healthcare systems, and a range of prominent not-for-profit entities. In 2006, Mr. Eagle and six former Palmer & Cay executives established a new insurance brokerage and benefits consulting firm, Seacrest Partners, Inc. Seacrest Partners now employs more than 50 insurance professionals with industry specialists in healthcare, construction, financial institutions, education, retail, manufacturing and property management. Seacrest operates offices in Savannah, Atlanta and Hilton Head.

An avid supporter of Savannah’s civic and not-for-profit organizations, Mr. Eagle’s past and present activities include: Past Chair of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light The Night Walk, Past Chair of LLS’s Leukemia Cup Regatta Executive Committee, Graduate of Leadership Savannah, Past Commodore of the Savannah Yacht Club, Ordained Elder of First Presbyterian Church, current Chair of Senior Citizens and former Chair of: United Way Board and United Way Campaign, American Red Cross, Georgia State Council of American Red Cross and the Greater Savannah Sports Council. While serving with Palmer & Cay, Mr. Eagle was presented with the Jack Cay Community
Service Award in recognition of his untiring commitment to the betterment of Savannah’s local community.

Mr. Eagle earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. A dedicated student of the employee benefits and insurance field, Mr. Eagle has earned the industry’s top designation sin both the benefits and property-casualty fields.
