Intermittent Traffic Delays on Tybee Island for Filming Production

WHAT: The Georgia Department of Transportation advises motorists to avoid the area of SR 26 on Tybee Island between First Street and Tybrisa Street. A filming crew will be working in the area Friday, February 10. Filming will require traffic pacing and intermittent traffic stops of no longer than 3 minutes. Traffic interruptions will be coordinated with local law enforcement officers.

Motorists are advised to reduce speeds, consider alternate routes and avoid the area. Expect heavy congestion if you must travel near this area. Speed limits will be reduced and will be strictly enforced. Blue lights will be utilized to alert and channel motorists through the area.

WHEN: 10 a.m. until 3 p.m., Friday, February 10.

WHERE: US 80/SR 26 between First Street and Tybrisa Street on Tybee Island in Chatham County.
