The application deadline for Savannah Youth Ambassadors has been extended to April 30, 2017. The Savannah Youth Ambassadors Program fosters youth leadership and civic engagement through City-sponsored training, cultural exploration opportunities, and Make a Difference community impact projects.

PARTICIPANT CRITERIA

Participants will be chosen through a selective application process and must meet the following requirements:

Be a Rising 9th – 12th Grader as of Summer 2017

Be a City of Savannah Resident

Have Access to Reliable Transportation

Provide Copy of Most Recent Report Card

Provide One Teacher Letter of Recommendation

Complete the Application and Upload Supporting Documents by 5:00 P.M. on Sunday, April 30, 2017

SYA SUMMER INSTITUTE SCHEDULE

SYA Summer Institute is held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9 A.M. to 2 P.M. at Armstrong Atlantic State University and various locations throughout the City. The program runs for four weeks, from June 6 to June 29, 2017.
