Hotel Indigo Savannah Historic District Welcomes Director of Revenue Manager & Director of Sales to Leadership Team

Hotel Indigo Savannah Historic District, a boutique hotel located at 201 West Bay St. in the vibrant City Market area of downtown Savannah, recently hired Ashley Desplat as its director of revenue management and Michele Neyer as director of sales. As part of the Indigo leadership team, they will work under the expertise of the general manger to enhance the overall profitability of the boutique hotel.

Ashley Desplat, Director of Revenue Management

With over 10 years of hospitality experience, Desplat is responsible for consistently driving revenue performance and market share through comprehensive analysis, strategic pricing, and mix management in all distribution channels for Hotel Indigo as its director of revenue management. Most recently, Desplat served as the revenue manager at the Westin Savannah Harbor where she was the recipient of multiple awards including Manager of the Quarter three years in a row. Prior to furthering her  hospitality career in Savannah, Desplat graduated with a B.S. in business administration (marketing) and a M.B.A. in management from Wagner College in Staten Island, N.Y.

Michele Neyer, Director of Sales

Neyer brings over 12 accomplished years to Hotel Indigo as a director of sales and marketing with a wide-range of experience working with leading hotel brands including Hilton, Marriott, Hyatt, and IHG. Most notably, she was on the opening team for the first new build Hyatt Place in Malta, N.Y., as well as the director of sales for the Crowne Plaza in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., at which time the hotel was honored with the prestigious Torchbearer Award. As the director of sales for Hotel Indigo, Neyer will work closely with the general manager to create and implement effective sales strategies in all market segments to maximize hotel revenues. In addition, she will oversee all training and supervising of the boutique hotel’s sales and marketing team.
