Jennifer Abshire, founder and CEO of Abshire Public Relations, was recently the keynote speaker for the graduation of the 2016-2017 Lynda Brannen Williamson Foundation Leadership Academy in Statesboro, Ga.

The LBWF Leadership Academy’s purpose is to give young professional women guidance, mentorship, and a path by which to maximize their professional and personal potential. Each woman selected to be a part of the organization has leadership potential, career aspirations and a commitment to the community.

Abshire encouraged this year’s academy graduates to continue their path as servant leaders and emphasized the importance for this year’s participants to rise up to the opportunity for leadership in their community. Abshire Public Relations has provided more than 1,000 hours of pro-bono counsel and strategy for area nonprofit organizations.
