Armstrong Alumni To Honor Faculty and Staff From Eight Decades

Staff Report From Savannah CEO

Friday, June 16th, 2017

In a yearlong initiative, Armstrong State University’s Alumni Office will host four events to celebrate faculty and staff from the university’s four historic eras, which include The Golden Years: 1937-65; Armstrong State College: 1966-96; Armstrong State Atlantic: 1997-2014; and Armstrong State University: 2015-17.

“Armstrong Alumni have always cherished their relationships with faculty members and staff,” says Armstrong Senior Director of Alumni Development Cheryl Ciucevich. “So it seems appropriate to honor the faculty and staff who motivated generations of students.”

Faculty and staff will be recognized at each event and a dedicatory plaque in their honor will be placed in the Armstrong Alumni Center.

Armstrong alumni are invited to submit the names of their favorite faculty and staff members online at Always Strong. Alumni may also call 912.344.2586 to have a volunteer make a voice recording of their favorite memories.
