Parker’s, an award-winning convenience store leader, recently donated $8,500 to Bulloch County Schools as part of the company’s Fueling the Community charitable initiative. Mill Creek Elementary Principal Jennifer Wade, Bulloch County Schools Teacher of the Year Susan Raegan and Mill Creek Elementary Teacher of the Year Maegan Beasley accepted the donation on behalf of the school district at a special ceremony held at Mill Creek Elementary School in Statesboro, Ga.

Parker’s donates a portion of every gallon of gas sold on the first Wednesday of each month to area schools through the Fueling the Community program. PumpPal club members can select which school will receive the proceeds from their Fueling the Community gas purchase on the first Wednesday.

"At Parker’s, we love giving money back to support local schools," said Parker’s Director of Operations Jeff Bush. "We understand that education has the power to transform lives and would like to offer a special thank you to the teachers who are making a positive impact on the lives of students across Bulloch County."
