Art Rise Savannah's Waters Avenue Art March Parade & Festival July 8th

Art Rise Savannah is incredibly excited to announce the second Art March Parade & Festival to take place on Waters Avenue, July 8th at 5pm. This event is free and open to the public!

The Waters Avenue Art March is a a people-powered parade of citizens, community groups, performance artists, neighborhood associations, and small businesses. At the head of the parade Samba Savannah provides the drum beat that leads the way through the Waters Avenue neighborhood.

The parade will start and finish at the 37th and Waters Shopping Center parking lot, home to Off the Grill and It's Amazing Beauty Center. Live performances from King Whoa, comedian Tommy Blake, Jay Tune, and Street Clothes will be overseen by Master of Ceremonies DJ Prince. The performances, starting at 6pm, will also be broadcast online on Servin These Streets Radio.

Grab a bite to eat at any of the restaurants on Water's Avenue. Off the Grill features delicious BBQ and Mac n Cheese, and Lisa's Chinese Take Out can be found on 40th and Waters.
