The DeSoto is pleased to welcome Miranda Marchant as the new marketing and communications manager of the 127-year-old iconic hotel located at 15 E. Liberty St. in historic downtown Savannah, Ga.

Prior to joining The DeSoto Hotel, Marchant worked at Brasseler, USA as their marketing and product coordinator before moving up to marketing manager for their rotary product segment. She has 11 years of experience in developing business plans, creating marketing campaigns and designing media for both print and digital. Marchant graduated from Leadership Savannah this year and is a member of the American Marketing Association.

Marchant earned her undergraduate degree in journalism and advertising from the University of Georgia and currently resides in Savannah, Ga.
