Senior Citizens, Inc. Names Steve Nelly as Director of Nutritional Services

Senior Citizens, Inc., a local nonprofit dedicated to providing services and resources to help people age successfully, recently hired Steve Nelly as its director of nutritional services. In that role, he will oversee the SCI kitchen and assist with developing catering operations for the organization.
 
Nelly came to SCI from Atlanta, where he held a variety of managerial positions in the catering and food services industry. Most recently, Nelly provided oversight for the daily preparation and delivery of meals for Gwinnett County Senior Services food program, after working several years as the corporate executive chef with ChefAdvantage.
 
A graduate of both University of Florida and the New England Culinary Institute, Nelly has a master’s degree in food technology from the University of Georgia. He is currently completing a master’s certificate in gerontology from the University of North Georgia.
