Savannah magazine and Livingood's Appliances & Bedding present the magazine’s annual Best of Savannah party (#BestofSav2017), Thursday, Sept. 14 at the Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa, 1 Resort Drive, Hutchinson Island. This event will honor winners of the annual readers’ poll in the categories of dining, nightlife, shopping, services and community—as well as the Best of Homes and Best of Doctors. The honorees will be recognized in the September/October issue of Savannah magazine, on sale in September.
 
Themed “The Greatest City on Earth,” the party is expected to draw more than 1,200 guests for a spectacular evening featuring the award-winning fare of the Best of Savannah honorees as well as signature snow cone cocktails, fortune tellers, carnival entertainment and swing jazz courtesy of Jeremy Davis, Clay Johnson and the Fabulous Equinox Quintet.
 
VIP early admission for winners and sponsors will be 6:30–7 p.m.; the doors will be open to the public 7–9:30 p.m. Tickets may be purchased in advance for $60 at bestofsavannah2017.cityspin.com, or $70 at the door. A portion of the event’s proceeds will benefit the Humane Society of Greater Savannah, again voted as the “Best Group to Volunteer For.”
