Armstrong State University is actively assessing facilities and grounds for damage and safety-related issues. Power is out across campus, and several large trees are down. Armstrong will not re-open until power is restored and clean-up efforts are complete.

Pending power being restored, Armstrong will re-open and resume classes on Monday, September 18 at 8 a.m. at the main campus in Savannah and at the Armstrong Liberty Center in Hinesville. All classes and special events are cancelled until Monday.

Residential students may return to the main campus on Friday, September 15, beginning at 2 p.m. Faculty and staff can access their offices on Friday, September 15, starting at 2 p.m.

We will confirm this schedule as soon as power is restored. Please continue to check text and email messages as well as Armstrong social media.

For your safety and protection, please do NOT attempt to return to campus at this time. Only authorized personnel are currently permitted to enter campus.
