Enmarket is pleased to announce that all of its retail stores in Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina will sell Light The Night paper icons in support of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light The Night event. The paper icons will be sold from September 5 – 31, 2017.

The paper icon, which represents the light of hope in the cure for blood cancers, can be purchased for $1 and personalized with the donor’s name. The icons will be displayed on surfaces inside participating enmarket stations. The company has set an aggressive goal to raise $90,000 in support of LLS’s mission to cure blood cancer and improve the lives of patients and their families.

“Every year, we come together as a company to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light Night event," said Matt Clements, marketing director of enmarket. “Most of us have a close friend or family member that has been affected by some type of cancer. This holds true for blood cancer in the enmarket and Colonial Group family. The cause is near and dear to our hearts, and our company is dedicated to championing the fight against leukemia and lymphoma.”

In Georgia, Light The Night’s fundraising efforts have grown to more than $2 million dollars at four events across the state. Savannah’s Light The Night will take place on Friday, October 13 in Daffin Park. During the event, walkers carry a illuminated lanterns along the walk route - white lanterns serve as “lights of hope” for cancer patients and survivors, red lanterns for supporters and gold for those walking in remembrance of someone.
