Kole Management Company, a family-owned property management and investment firm based in Savannah, announces the acquisition of Pavilion Village, a 294-unit luxury apartment community in the rapidly growing Harris Boulevard submarket of Charlotte, N.C., near I-85 and I-485.
Built in 2016, Pavilion Village consists of one-, two- and three-bedroom garden-style units with nine-foot ceilings, gourmet kitchens with stainless appliances and espresso cabinetry, garden tubs with built-in shelving, walk-in closets and washer/dryer connections. Property amenities at the gated community include a resort-style saltwater pool with a poolside kitchen and gathering place, complimentary wi-fi in common areas, a 24-hour fitness center, a dog park and a pet wash station.
Pavilion Village is the first Charlotte-area property acquired by KMC. It’s located in the second largest employment area in the region and is adjacent to the new 61,000-square-foot Shoppes at Mallard Creek and near the 19,500-seat PNC Music Pavilion. It’s close to a new section of Charlotte’s light rail line set to open next year and will have direct access to the city’s planned 26-mile greenway system.
“We’re elated by the acquisition of Pavilion Village,” said KMC president Jeff Kole. “Its apartment features and community amenities are all top rank, and it’s close to a lot of employment growth and lifestyle improvements happening in Charlotte.”
KMC owns and operates more than 2,300 apartments in Georgia and North Carolina, including three Macon properties (Riverstone, Falls at Spring Creek and Legacy at River Crossing), Ten35 Alexander in Augusta and, in the Savannah area, Alhambra, Wyndmere, Kessler Point, Rendant, Arbors, Ridgewood, Carriage House and Ashton at Richmond Hill.
