Thomas & Hutton CFO Earns Certified Fraud Examiner Credential

Thomas & Hutton is pleased to announce that Chief Financial Officer, Tom Pace has recently earned the Certified Fraud Examiner credential. The CFE is a professional accreditation supported by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, the largest anti-fraud organization and leader in anti-fraud training and education worldwide. The rigorous CFE exam is comprised of four elements of fraud knowledge including fraud prevention and deterrence, financial transactions and fraud schemes, investigation, and law. Upon obtaining this credential, Tom joined an elite group of Fraud Examiners who are tasked with protecting the global economy by uncovering fraud and implementing procedures that stop fraud before it begins.  CFEs can be found across industries and it is this diversity and compilation of knowledge of methods, law, and resolution skills that makes Tom’s attainment of the CFE so vital to Thomas & Hutton and the financial world at large.

Tom Pace has over 27 years of experience with Fortune 100 companies.  He earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting from The Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina.  Additionally, Tom holds a Master’s of Business Administration with a concentration in Corporate Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University and is a Certified Management Accountant.
