AARP Georgia Hosts “65 Shades of Silver: Living Life…Sassy, Suave and Satisfied”

Staff Report From Savannah CEO

Monday, October 9th, 2017

AARP Georgia will host 65 Shades of Silver: Living Life…Sassy, Suave and Satisfied on Friday, Oct. 13, in Savannah, to help change the conversation in Georgia about what it means to grow older – embracing aging as something to look forward to, not something to fear; to see aging as a period of growth, not decline; and perhaps most importantly, for individuals to see themselves as contributors to society, not burdens.

As part of AARP’s effort to “Disrupt Aging,” 65 Shades of Silver will feature speakers on the topics of health, wealth and self during the morning sessions, followed by an afternoon of filled with fun and a fashion show of the latest fashions. The event is co-hosted by WomenHeart Savannah and Stein Mart.

65 Shades of Silver is free and open to the public, but registration is required due to limited seating. Continental breakfast and lunch will be served, and there is a dessert reception in the afternoon.
