The Club at Savannah Harbor's Director of Instruction Recognized in Top 50 Golf Teachers by Golf Digest

The Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa and The Club at Savannah Harbor are excited to announce that its Director of Instruction, Andrew Rice was recently named to Golf Digest’s 50 Best Teachers in America. Rice’s inaugural nomination to the list landed him at #34.

The bi-annual article, written by Matthew Rudy, features the top 50 leaders in the golf instruction industry as voted by their peers. Rudy states,  “The nine new instructors joining the 2017-'18 50 Best List represent a "hybrid" approach, combining technological savvy with pure coaching skills.”

Rice became the Director of Instruction at The Club in December 2017 and hosts weekly Three-Day Golf Schools, coaches many of Savannah’s amateur and junior players and works with several PGA and Web.com players at the facility. He has been teaching golf for almost 30 years and uses cutting edge teaching technology to help golfers of all abilities improve. Andrew is a faculty member for Revolution Golf, a member of the prestigious PING Engineering Team, a SwingCatalyst Ambassador and a TrackMan Partner.

Over the past 20 years, Andrew has taken center stage in the golf world and online community communicating his best tips weekly to over 2 million subscribers.  His DVD series sold over 15,000 copies in 2014 and his books have sold over 20,000 in print and 8,000 copies in digital.  With 12,000 followers, 5000 fans and 2.9 million YouTube  views he is a magnate amongst professional and recreational golfers.
