The DeSoto Names Steven Ouellette as Food and Beverage Manager

The DeSoto, the 127-year-old iconic hotel located at 15 E. Liberty St. in historic downtown Savannah, Ga., is pleased to welcome Steven Ouellette as its new food and beverage manager. In that role, he will manage and oversee room service, the pool bar, Buffalo Bayou, and Edgar’s Proof & Provision, Savannah’s newest bourbon bar and gourmet eatery overlooking historic Liberty Street.

Prior to joining The DeSoto, Ouellette served as the restaurant manager at both Old Edwards Inn and Spa in Highlands, N.C., and The Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs, W.V. He also completed culinary internships at Walt Disney World and the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, N.C.

Ouellette, an Eagle Scout, studied at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, R.I. He currently lives in downtown Savannah.
