Georgia Power Foundation Donates $10,000 to Senior Citizens, Inc.

Senior Citizens, Inc. received a $10,000 donation from the Georgia Power Foundation for its Center for Successful Aging Capital Campaign.  Truitt Eavenson, vice president for the Coastal Region of Georgia Power, presented the check to Patti Lyons, president of SCI on Tuesday, November 21 at 2 p.m. at SCI at 3025 Bull Street in Savannah. 

“Georgia Power has been a supporter of Senior Citizens, Inc. for many years. We are so grateful for their support and for their investment in the Center for Successful Aging,” said Lyons.  “This generous donation will help us provide the best resources for the older adults in our community.”

Senior Citizens, Inc. plans to renovate and expand its headquarters on Bull Street, which includes a new building for the Ruth Byck Adult Day Health Center, a secondary Meals On Wheels kitchen, and more classrooms for The Learning Center.
