State Bank Financial Corporation Welcomes Treasury Professional Justin Lake

State Bank Financial Corporation, the holding company for State Bank and Trust Company, announced the addition of Justin Lake as a treasury professional in Savannah, Georgia.
 
Lake will be responsible for partnering with State Bank’s Savannah team to grow their deposit portfolio and educate clients on the bank’s treasury capabilities, which will help them maximize their cash conversion cycle.
 
“We’ve seen tremendous success in the Savannah market this year and Justin’s role will enhance our customer service and financial strength in the region,” said Jonathan Shapleigh, Savannah market president of State Bank Financial. “His experience in various commercial industries and familiarity with the Savannah banking market will be of significant value to State Bank.”
 
Lake has over 10 years of dedicated banking experience, with the last five years dedicated to treasury services. His work has spanned a broad range of commercial client segments including government and non-profit industries. Prior to joining State Bank, Lake was a treasury sales officer at a large regional bank in Savannah.

Lake received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Georgia and his associate’s degree in business administration from Middle Georgia College. He moved to Savannah in 2015 with his wife and two children to focus his career on the Southeast Georgia market.
