Jennifer Witherington, Senior Academic Dean at Ogeechee Technical College, was recently presented with the Leadership Award at the Spring Faculty Staff Meeting. Her nomination read, “She is a great leader. She aspires to be the leader that pushes her team to be the best they can be.

She articulates a clear vision through strategic planning and believes in teamwork.” Witherington has held various positions at the College, including faculty member, dean, and was recently promoted to Senior Academic Dean. She said, “I think everyone deserves the opportunity to find what they’re good at and keep getting better. I hope my team would tell you that they are motivated to accomplish more because I believe in them and I want to work with them, as a team.”
