1540 Room Presents “Family Supper” Style Dinner

Staff Report From Savannah CEO

Friday, March 23rd, 2018

Every third Wednesday, 1540 Room restaurant will be hosting “Family Supper” starting on March 21, 2018. This family-style dinner will challenge the conventional restaurant experience by seating patrons together to encourage interaction.

“This family style of dining is inspired by the Italian dinner table,” said Kyle Jacovino, executive chef of 1540 Room. “We want to bring good company and conversation together through food. Creating a more casual atmosphere that gives people a chance to relax also allows us to have more one-on-one time with our guests.”

The decadent three-course menu will feature seasonal selections curated by executive chef, Kyle Jacovino, who will be engaging with guests throughout the meal. Guests will be seated at the long family table with plates for self-serving during each course. Antipasti will be served promptly at 6:30 p.m. followed by the first course. Highlights of the meal include:

Whipped Ricotta Cannelloni - roasted mushroom, San Marzano tomatoes, garlic breadcrumbs

Braised Short Rib & Mussels Diavolo - spin rossa polenta, roasted carrots, lacinato kale / Calabrian chilies, herbs, white wine, tomato broth

Southern Style Tiramisu - cornbread ladyfingers, mascarpone, chocolate

The prix fixe menu is available for $35 per person plus $10 for old-school Italian wine. Seating is limited. For reservations, please visit www.1540savannah.com, our Opentable page or call 912-443-2022.
