The Refinery to Launch Creative Writing Classes, Summer Camps for Area Children

The Refinery, a writing studio based in Savannah, Ga., is launching a variety of writing classes geared toward children and teens, including several creative writing summer camps. After-school and summer classes are available for students in grades three through eight.
“The Refinery Writing Studio recognizes that when young people find their voices, they not only develop critical verbal and written communication skills, they also develop empathy, emotional resiliency, and a talent for storytelling that will carry them throughout life,” said Amy Paige Condon, founder of The Refinery.
The following classes are available:
Weekly Creative Writing Workshops, Grades 6-8
