Savannah Downtown Business Association to Host Service and Hospitality Expert Leonardo Inghilleri at March 14th Meeting

Leonardo Inghilleri, president of ICG (inghilleri Consulting Group, Inc.) and former executive at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company and The Walt Disney Company, will share how service and profitability are directly linked as he discusses in his book “Exceptional Service, Exceptional Profit” at the Savannah Downtown Business Association’s luncheon on Wednesday, March 14. The March 14 luncheon will be at the Coastal Georgia Center for Continuing Education, 305 Fahm Street. and is sponsored by StayinSavannah.com. Networking begins at 11:30AM and lunch is at 12PM.

This SDBA event rounds out the association’s first quarter of impactful meetings as part of its 2018 “Year of Solutions.” SDBA’s February meeting featured U.S. Attorney for the Southern District Bobby Christine. The March 14 event is open to the public and the deadline to register is Friday, March 9. Cost is $25 for SDBA members and $40 for non-members. Inghilleri is a recognized expert and innovator in the area of business strategy, customer service excellence, organizational culture, leadership development, and human resources practices. Prior to his consulting career, he served 10 years at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company as Chief Human Resource Officer and as Executive Vice President and Brand Executive for BVLGARI Hotels  & Resorts (a Ritz-Carlton/BVLGARI joint venture). Inghilleri also developed innovative business and service concepts, the Ritz-Carlton Learning Institute and The Ritz-Carlton Leadership Center. Other highlights of his leadership include being a key architect of the unprecedented Ritz-Carlton’s second winning of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award.

His work with The Walt Disney Company included time in Orlando and as part of the executive opening team for Disneyland Paris. Inghilleri has held management positions within the travel and hospitality industry in Italy, England and the United States.
