Stage Front kicked off its 40th anniversary year Thursday, March 1st by announcing a partnership with local non-profit Urban Hope. Following remarks from both organizations, company employees and representatives from Urban Hope, including several children who are a part of their After School Program, enjoyed birthday cake to celebrate the collaboration and the company’s 40th anniversary year.

Stage Front began operation in 1978, initially selling theatrical lighting to the entertainment industry. As the company developed its skill set and expanded its service offerings, they took the consultative approach of supporting architects, electrical engineers, and general contractors as a dependable design-build partner for audiovisual systems solutions. As the largest Georgia-based AV company located outside of the metro Atlanta area, Stage Front serves enterprise clients by designing, installing and supporting systems currently operating in 37 states.  In addition to its AV design-build business, Stage Front provides complete event management, and they provide the highest quality in event design and production management – specializing in audio, video, and lighting.

The company’s headquarters are located in Savannah, GA, with offices in Charleston, SC and Atlanta, GA, and onsite resources in Charleston, Charlotte, Huntsville, Nashville, and Philadelphia.

During the past 40 years, Stage Front has provided professional consultation, design, integration, maintenance for commercial audio, video and production lighting systems. Their current focus and expertise has also grown to encompass multiple market segments such as corporate enterprise, performing arts, medical education and regional government facilities. Some solutions include video collaboration, distance learning, training applications and theatrical systems.

“Our journey has afforded us 40 years of experience, 40 years of creativity, and 40 years of providing a better plan for audio visual services,” said Vice President of Sales Chase Nelson. “More importantly, our journey has given us the stability and expertise to establish our place in the future of the industry.”

Vice President of Technical Operations Robert Hammonds adds, “our team is very passionate about giving back to the community and we felt like the celebration of our 40th year in business was a great opportunity to tie in with a local non-profit organization. Urban Hope is a great resource for many families, and we are excited to work with them over the following year.”
