Byrd Cookie Company CEO Stephanie Lindley has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Georgia Chamber of Commerce and will begin her term on July 1, 2018. The Chamber’s board members represent cities across Georgia as well as the businesses that have helped the Peach State achieve economic success.

Savannah currently has a total of 17 representatives. A Georgia native, Lindley is proud to join their ranks as the owner of a highly successful company that is now in its fourth and fifth generations.

“It’s an honor and a privilege to represent Savannah at the state level,” Lindley explained. “To me, it’s an important way to give back to the state that has supported the growth of my family’s business, from its founding in 1924 to providing high-quality products for a wide range of national clients, including Delta and United Airlines, in 2018.”

Lindley is personally and professionally driven to share the best Savannah has to offer with a global audience. A Georgia Chamber of Commerce member, Byrd Cookie Company was identified as a state-wide economic influencer in the Chamber’s January 2018 newsletter and was a featured business in the organization’s Authentic Georgia series.

With the recent addition of a new oven that enables Byrd to bake more than one billion cookies each year at the company’s production facility in Savannah, the company is in a major growth mode and is currently adding 50 new positions in a range of areas.
