Escape Tybee Hosts Ribbon Cutting & Fundraiser for TIMA July 30th

Join Escape Tybee, Tybee Island’s new and only escape room game, Monday, July 30 at 4:30 p.m. for their grand opening ribbon cutting ceremony with fundraiser to benefit Tybee Island Maritime Academy.

The ribbon cutting will be led by Mayor Jason Buelterman and Lara and Bryan Robertson, Escape Tybee owners and TIMA parents. After the ceremony, attendees are encouraged to test their puzzle-solving skills with an outdoor Escape experience or try giant speed Jenga, ping pong, and other family-friendly games. Food and drinks from local Tybee businesses will be provided.

Escape Tybee will host a raffle to benefit TIMA with prizes including team and party passes to the Tybee Bomb or Blackbeard’s Queen Anne’s Revenge escape rooms.  Escape Tybee is part of a movement fueling interest in game-based tourism, while also introducing local history and lore to locals and visitors alike.
