Tuesday, August 28th, 2018

The annual Critz Tybee Run Fest is gearing up for another successful year of great races, fun, and fitness not only for individuals, but for the whole family. Registration is now open for all events, and participants can take advantage of early bird prices before rates increase on September 1st.

The February 2019 race will begin with the 1/7 Mile Kiddie Run held at 6 p.m. right before the North Beach Bar and Grill 5K on Friday, February 1st. The Collins Quarter 10K, the Chu’s Half Marathon, the Light House Pizza 2.8 Mile Beach Run, and the 1 Mile race will all take place on Saturday, February 2nd. The race’s unique two-day format, combining five races to equal a full marathon, attracts a large number of supporters and race contestants each year.

The Critz Tybee Run Fest also gives back to the community by donating all net profits raised to local non-profit organizations that foster education and healthy lifestyles for children and teens. More than 1,600 race participants took part in the 10th Anniversary Critz Tybee Run Fest this past February, and an estimated $65,000 was raised for non-profit organizations in the Coastal Empire. These community grants are made possible from race entries and sponsorships from a large variety of race partners of the Critz Tybee Run Fest.
