Georgia Tech Professional Education has hired Kerry Jarvis as the Marketing Communications Manager for the Georgia Tech-Savannah campus.

Jarvis has an extensive background in higher education marketing communications. She most recently served as the Director of Marketing and Public Relations at the University of South Carolina- Beaufort, overseeing public information strategies for the fifth fastest growing undergraduate public university in the nation.

Prior to that, Jarvis managed all digital media campaigns at Trident Technical College. While there she was part of the team responsible for creating a college-wide marketing strategy to help enhance their brand. She also has marketing experience at Clemson University, Orangeburg Calhoun Technical College and has taught college and high school aged students as well.

Jarvis received her BA in English and Speech Communication at Clemson University, and her Master’s Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of South Carolina.

She has a passion for higher education and vast experience in social media, digital communications, event management and media relations making this a great opportunity for her to lead the promotion of Georgia Tech, Savannah campus.
