CoastalStates Bank is pleased to announce that Kate Allen Rott has joined the CoastalStates team as Vice President of Commercial Lending for the Savannah market.

With over 11 years of experience in the banking industry, Ms. Rott is expected to play a key role in CoastalStates Bank’s continuing expansion into the Savannah market. “Kate’s knowledge and expertise when it comes to business development, credit analysis and underwriting, deal structuring, and all aspects of relationship management will be an asset to our clients and our team at CoastalStates Bank,” said Senior Vice President Brian Smith. “More importantly, Kate understands what ‘Local’ means to Savannah. With her leadership, we are poised to strengthen our presence and continue our growth within the Coastal Empire.”

Rott received a Bachelor of Arts in German Studies from Principia College, and obtained her Master of Arts in German Studies from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She is an active member of the community and currently serves on the Small Business Assistance Corporation (SBAC) Loan Committee, the Savannah Technical College Community Council, and is a former member of the Savannah Triathlon Club. Rott enjoys cycling and participating in triathlons. She completed an Ironman distance competition in 2014 in less than 12.5 hours.
