The Love and Legacy Project is pleased to announce its 2018-19 Board of Directors. Founded in 2017, the Love and Legacy Project is committed to preserving the legacies of mothers, fathers, and their children through the gift of high-quality imagery and art.

The mission of the Love and Legacy Project is to support families experiencing medical or socioeconomic hardships by providing complimentary maternity, newborn, and family photography sessions. The nonprofit organization has partnered with community organizations including the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Coastal Empire, the Pregnancy Care Centers of both Richmond Hill and Rincon, Family Promise of Greater Savannah, and New Life Church of Richmond Hill.

In 1999, Megan graduated college with a double major in Elementary Education and Theater Performance and spent the next 12 years teaching 1st grade and Preschool students. She currently resides in Richmond Hill, GA with her retired Army officer husband and two young sons.

Jennifer Strouss, who will serve as Vice President, currently lives in Richmond Hill, Georgia with her husband of 20 years and is originally from Michigan. She is currently the General Manager of Ulta Beauty in Savannah, Georgia. Wendy Woods is honored to take on the role of Secretary for the Love and Legacy Project. Woods currently lives in Richmond Hill, Georgia with her husband and daughter. Originally from Vidalia, Georgia, Wendy has spent over 15 years serving alongside her husband in full-time ministry, mainly working with youth and children. During this time, she helped build a student ministry from less than 10 middle and high school students to over 150 students, led groups of students on statewide and international mission trips, and helped lead adult and student volunteer teams. Within the last few years, Wendy decided to utilize her passion to invest in and care for children as a stay at home childcare provider. In this role, she assists in the development of children by providing a life-giving environment where they can begin the process of growing into their full potential.
