Planet Fitness Savannah Takes a Stand Against Bullying

Staff Report From Savannah CEO

Wednesday, September 26th, 2018

Planet Fitness Savannah is taking a stand against bullying. Through its participation in Planet Fitness’ national Judgement Free Generation initiative, the Savannah-area franchise is joining other Planet Fitness locations across the country in tackling this important issue.

The Judgement Free Generation initiative seeks to empower today’s youth with tools and training to combat bullying and support one another through acceptance and encouragement. Along with partners Boys & Girls Club of America, and the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence, Planet Fitness seeks to address the emotional and physical effects of bullying by equipping young people with the skills they need to create a culture in which kindness prevails.

Throughout the month of September, Planet Fitness Savannah staff will be accepting donations for this initiative. 100% of these funds will go to Boys & Girls Club of America to support bullying prevention training, scholarships for Boys & Girls Club youth who promote acceptance and inclusion in their communities, the building of Mini Judgment Free Zone fitness centers with local Boys & Girls Clubs, and more.

To donate to this important initiative, stop by one of Planet Fitness Savannah’s locations between now and September 30: 1100 Eisenhower Drive or 3609 Ogeechee Boulevard.
