Savannah Master Calendar’s 14 partner businesses came together to fundraise for Coastal Pet Rescue and to help find forever homes for the organization’s homeless cats and dogs. Sail Away with Me was co-hosted by the SMC Partners, including Chelsea Phillips Real Estate Group and Woof Gang Bakery Savannah. The event took place on Tuesday, August 28 from 5:30–7:00 pm at Woof Gang’s Starland store, located at 1601 Bull Street in Savannah. Chef Cynthia Creighton-Jones of Cape Creations Catering prepared delicious appetizers, Congress Street Up served specialty cocktails, and Johnnie Ganem’s provided beer and wine. Along with amazing door prizes and the best networking in Savannah, guests enjoyed bringing their pets along to this pet-friendly event. The event also celebrated Woof Gang Savannah’s new local franchise owner, Greg Lard.

Over $1,200 was raised for Coastal Pet Rescue at the event, on top of Woof Gang Bakery’s extremely generous donation of $12,000 worth of pet food. Additionally, Woof Gang Bakery matched all cat and dog food that guests purchased and donated that evening pound-per-pound.
