Assisting Working Women in Need announces plans for their 16th Annual Top Ten Working Women of the Year Awards Gala and Silent Auction on Friday, October 19, 2018, at the Mighty Eighth Air Force Museum.

The evening is black tie and will start at 6:45 p.m. with a press conference for honorees. Individual seats are $85; a table of 10 is $800. The featured speaker for this year’s gala is Kim Gusby, Coastal Sunrise News Anchor on WSAV TV.

“This gala was created to recognize and honor working women in the community who have worked hard to reach their goals and are giving back to the community." said Sarahlyn Phillips, AWWIN Founder, "I wanted to motivate and inspire other working women who desire to be a star in our community.”

Some of this year’s honorees include Kim Cofer Butler of Ellis, Painter, Ratterree & Adams, LLP: Fran Baker-Witt of Effingham Health System; Amber Hall of Hosanna Helpers.
