Paul Farthing Joins GAMES Board of Directors

During a recent meeting held in Savannah, local business owner Paul Farthing was added to the Georgia Association of Medical Equipment Suppliers board of directors. The organization serves companies that provide medical equipment, complex rehabilitation and respiratory care to people at home, educating its members about policies and business strategy. The group also focuses effort to influence public policy surrounding healthcare issues. Paul, president of home ostomy supplier Anchor Medical, will join 11 other board members from around the state.

The GAMES annual meeting was held Sept. 9 - 11 at the Desoto. Paul was honored to be nominated, “I look forward to working with others on the board to make sure our state maintains an environment friendly to providers, allowing us to thoroughly take care of patient’s needs.”

Paul has been a successful entrepreneur, focusing in the medical supply industry for over 20 years. He currently serves as the President of new ostomy supplier, Anchor Medical. He formed the company after the sale of his former business Southeast Medical, to address the needs of ostomates frustrated at their lack of specialized care.
