Visit Savannah President Joseph Marinelli reflected on moving up on the list, and how the reader-voted ranking reflects the spirit of the community: “Year after year, Savannah enjoys the great honor of being selected by the readers of Condè Nast Traveler as one of their top cities to visit in the United States. At number three on that list this year, along with many other very fine destinations, we could not be more thrilled to be near the very top of that list. It truly is a reflection of the wonderful spirit of Southern hospitality that our community presents to our visitors each and every day.”
