The 2019 Critz Tybee Run Fest is fast approaching. Participants can register online before rates increase on Thursday, November 29th or can stop by the Critz Tybee Run Fest booth at the Enmarket Savannah Bridge Run’s Health & Wellness Expo inside the Savannah Civic Center on Friday, November 30th, 10a.m. to 7p.m., to register at a discount.

Each year the Critz Tybee Run Fest offers great races, fun, and fitness not only for individuals, but for the whole family. The Critz Tybee Run Fest also gives back to the community by donating all net profits raised to local non-profit organizations that foster education and healthy lifestyles for children and teens. More than 1,600 race participants took part in the 10th Anniversary Critz Tybee Run Fest this past February, and an estimated $65,000 was raised for non-profit organizations in the Coastal Empire. These community grants are made possible from race entries and sponsorships from a large variety of race partners of the Critz Tybee Run Fest.

The February 2019 race will begin with the 1/7 Mile Byrd’s Famous Cookies Kiddie Run held at 6 p.m. right before the North Beach Bar and Grill 5K on Friday, February 1st. The Collins Quarter 10K, the Chu’s Half Marathon, the Lighthouse Pizza 2.8 Mile Beach Run, and the Bernie’s Oyster House 1 Mile race will all take place on Saturday, February 2nd. The race’s unique two-day format, combining five races to equal a full marathon, attracts a large number of supporters and race contestants each year.
