Community leaders met to unveil a new nonprofit organization, ‘Charitable Hearts for Children,’ in time for the holiday giving season.

‘Charitable Hearts for Children’ is a new umbrella organization of businesses which enables professionals to help our community’s children through volunteering, contributing to scholarship funds, sponsoring fundraisers, and other initiatives. This support will be facilitated via the ‘Charitable Hearts for Children’ umbrella charitable organization. ‘A Walk to Remember’ is one such initiative as it provides support for students who have lost a parent or guardian.

“We are excited to open up ‘Charitable Hearts for Children’ to the wider community,” said A Walk to Remember President Judy Blackston. “Under the umbrella of this 501(c)3 corporation we plan to hold a series of quarterly networking events to raise awareness, funds and support for children throughout the Coastal Empire.”
