Throughout 2018, Savannah Master Calendar’s partner businesses came together to host a monthly charity networking series. Each month’s event benefited a different nonprofit or charitable cause in the greater Savannah community. In total, this year’s event series raised over $10,000 for area organizations, including America's Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia, the Coastal Heritage Society, Coastal Pet Rescue, EmployAbility, Frank Callen Boys & Girls Clubs, Greenbriar Children’s Center, the Habersham YMCA, Hospice Savannah's Edel Caregiver Institute, the Rape Crisis Center of the Coastal Empire, Ronald McDonald House of the Coastal Empire, Senior Citizen Inc., and the Tourism Leadership Council (TLC) community assistance and scholarship funds. In addition to these monetary donations, over 112 blankets were donated to Senior Citizens Inc, 22 prom dresses to the Rape Crisis Center, countless canned goods and nonperishable food items to Second Harvest, and, most recently, hundreds of much-needed toys were donated to Greenbriar Children’s Center as a result of the SMC Partners’ December toy drive.

“SMC’s corporate partners represent the very best of the Savannah business community, both in their professionalism and their generous dedication to supporting local nonprofits. It’s an honor to partner with these business leaders and we look forward to an even more successful year of fundraising in 2019,” said Marianne Ganem-Poppell, owner and president of Savannah Master Calendar.
