Memorial Health presented a check for $30,000 to representatives of Susan G. Komen Coastal Georgia today for its sponsorship of the 2019 Komen Race for the Cure in Savannah. This marks the 11^th Savannah Komen Race for the Cure and Memorial has served as the local presenting sponsor for the 5K since its inception in 2009.

“We are excited to support the good work of Susan G. Komen Coastal Georgia,” said Shayne George, CEO of Memorial Health. “The money raised through the Savannah Race for the Cure will be used locally to provide breast cancer services and for research that will hopefully lead to a cure.”
