New Yoga Now, a locally-owned yoga studio, recently announced a community initiative to partner with three local non-profit organizations during 2019 as a celebration of their inaugural business year. The studio opened this past January and offers a variety of yoga and meditation classes for all skill levels.

For the Love of Paws will be the first beneficiary of the program called “New Yoga Now Gives Back.” The mission of For the Love of Paws is to support the efforts that foster the betterment of pets’ lives in the greater Savannah area. Over the next three months, NYN will be implementing a variety of ways to raise funds and awareness for this organization including a pet food drive and hosting several events and classes where proceeds will be donated towards For the Love of Paws.

New Yoga Now was founded by Erin Lambright and Kendall Beene. Erin and Kendall collectively have over 20 years of experience as yoga instructors and are two of the most sought after teachers in the greater Savannah area. They each have a background in multiple styles and levels of yoga in addition to working with students in regards to therapeutic and restorative practices.

“It is important to us as local business owners to contribute within our community as thoughtful and active citizens,” says Lambright.

Beene continues, “We envision our space as a vehicle not only for the encouragement of healthy living and wellness, but also as a community of like-minded individuals who are committed to giving back through their time and talents.”
