Thomas & Hutton Announces that Donald “Scooter” Sheldon is now a Licensed Professional Engineer

Thomas & Hutton is pleased to announce that Donald “Scooter” Sheldon is now a licensed Professional Engineer in South Carolina. The 8-hour civil examination consists of five areas, including construction, geotechnical, structural, transportation, and water resources and environmental.

Sheldon joined Thomas & Hutton in February 2018. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and has three years of experience in water resources. As a Designer in the Water Resources Department, Sheldon works on stormwater management with a focus on hydraulic and hydrologic modeling with projects varying from single site designs to drainage improvements to full watershed management plans. Some of Sheldon’s projects include Effingham County Industrial Development Authority I-16 Stormwater Model, Chesterfield Valley Stormwater Analysis, and the Chatham County Henderson-Yemassee Canal Model.
