CPPI-Sponsored Chefs and Chocolates Event Raises Funds for Savannah's Urban Hope

CPPI was a Faith Sponsor for the Ninth Annual Chefs and Chocolates event on Friday, February 22nd. The event benefits Urban Hope, a local ministry devoted to changing the lives of children and youth by bringing them a sense of hope and a sense of future through spiritual and educational development and life management skills.

The annual Chefs and Chocolates event hosted food and dessert tastings from several local restaurants and bakeries, including Zunzi’s, Little Italy, Current Catering, Vanilla & the Bean, The Topiary, Marche de Macaron, and River Street Sweets.

Attendees also enjoyed live music by Main Street Trio, and participated in a wine pull and live and silent auctions. The event was hosted at Trustees’ Garden at 660 East Broughton Street in Savannah at 7:00pm.

Since 2000, Urban Hope has provided 15,000 healthy meals, served 180 children annually, and provided 850 hours of activity. Urban Hope programs include an after school program, summer camp, student leader program, and family night dinners. There are no fees or charges for a student to participate in the Urban Hope program.
